Rainbow Spinners

We learned that white light from a torch could be split up into lots of different colours by shining it through a prism. A prism is a triangular piece of glass.

We learned that white light from the sun can be split up into lots of different colours by water droplets in the air. This makes a rainbow.

Our Science Question was: Can we mix the colours of the rainbow back together to give us white light?

To do this we made Rainbow Spinners. The spun around make the colours all blur together. When they spun really fast the rainbow spinner looked white.
